Draftsight Issue ( Priority & Display Problem )

Hello,

After a recent Windows Update package, I encountered two issues. There is almost no one in my location who can provide support for this, and the consulting company I usually work with typically resolves such problems by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. However, in this case, that method did not solve the issue. As I mentioned, I have two main problems, and although I previously created tickets, I could not find where to respond to the replies I received. From my personal experience, I believe there is a usability gap in this area.

I am using DraftSight 2019 SP3 – Enterprise edition.

1) Permission issue

I have a domain in a small business environment. After a Windows update, all computers using the network license started asking for permission when launching DraftSight. Since the environment is domain-based, all users are restricted accounts. Naturally, restricted users are prompted to enter the credentials of an elevated user to run the software. Each user attempts to open a different “.msi” file and gets blocked due to insufficient permissions. If I give them full privileges, it may put my current system at risk. I am attaching a screenshot regarding this issue.

2) Display issue

Following the same Windows update, some of my users began experiencing display distortions. The tickets I submitted initially included video recordings of these distortions. However, since I could not find a way to reply to the responses on the ticket system, I decided to write here. I will again attach videos and images related to the issue.
(Note: the problem is as follows — when zooming in or out, strange circular artifacts appear, and certain parts of the design look incomplete unless the mouse is hovered over them.)

Troubleshooting steps already performed:

  • Completely uninstalled DraftSight
  • Cleaned the registry thoroughly
  • Used both DDU and standard methods to clean Intel and NVIDIA Quadro drivers, then installed the latest versions
  • Reset profiles according to the notifications provided
  • Deleted all DraftSight-related folders under the Local User directory, similar to how we cleaned the registry

Despite all these steps, the issues still persist.
