Hello,

I recently updated to DraftSight 2025 SP4 and have started experiencing issues opening drawings created in DraftSight 2024. The only notification I receive appears in the command line window, where it simply displays <> with no additional details. No geometry is loaded, so I’m unable to save the file as an older version.

So far, this issue has occurred only with DXF files. As a workaround, I’ve had to use an online converter to convert the files from DXF to DWG in order to open them successfully.

What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it?
