Hello,

is it possible to assign the initial stock of a semi finished item (SF) to several finished products (FP) in SRP and mix it with new production to allow immediate production of the FPs?
Is always the complete amount of initial stock assigned first?

Let's assume you have 5 FPs consuming continuously the same SF item that is continuously produced. For each FP you have a work order of a quantity of 1000. So 5 WO with a quantity of 1000.
The initial stock of the SF is 1000.
There are 5 machines available to produce the 5 FPs in parallel.
How is the initial stock assigned? Only by SRP computation-> Sort/filter criteria->Inventory allocation->sort requirements?
Is it possible to let ORTEMS e.g. assign 200 for each FP WO and the remaining 800 are filled with new production of the SF item?
Let's assume the machine capacity for the SF item would allow that and the SF item cannot be produced on the first day.
