I know there isn't an out of the box way to use the Part Design split command that results in two separate bodies, but is there any clever or automated ways to achieve this? The most basic way I have devised to accomplish this is to use paste special with link to create two new part bodies identical to the first and then perform a split on each body keeping opposing sides. I attempted to convert this operation to a power copy, but I wasn't able to figure out how to assign a body as an input for the linked bodies. Is there a better methodology than using linked bodies? Is there a way this process could be automated through power copy, ekl action, or something else?
