Question for the community hive mind. Regarding checking the quality of surfaces.

Does your organisation have a different set of required tolerances (G0, G1, G2 etc) for a Concept Release (Styling Concept)  versus a Final Surface Release? Without breaking confidentiality, can you share what those tolerances are? 

And

Whose responsibility is it to check the surfaces comply with those requirements? 

And

Standard sections from the section book. Gap / Flush etc Who checks those, and when are they checked? Do they check at Early releases or just the final release?
