As part of the R2026x FD01 user assistance, SIMULIA R&D created a new 3DEXPERIENCE example that teaches you how to perform a parametric design improvement study on a loaded hook. Although this example highlights the Parametric Design Study app, you also use the Geometry Idealization, Physics Results Explorer, Structural Model Creation, and Structural Scenario Creation apps.
While completing this example, you learn how to:
Create a design improvement study that explores changes in the geometry of a part and the resulting change in its behavior.
Review the results of a design improvement study.
Explore alternatives, and search for the best design.
Simulate and observe the results of the best design.
You can use what you learn in this example to optimize your own design using objectives and constraints unique to your use case.
To try this example yourself, see Design Exploration Study of a Hook.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to creating this example!
