Fluids Advanced Seminar at 2026 SIMULIA Americas Users Conference

The 2026 SIMULIA Americas Users Conference is a great opportunity to connect with simulation community, hear the latest from customers, experts and R&D, and explore innovation across structures, fluids, electromagnetics, vibroacoustics, multibody dynamics and multiphysics workflows with strong emphasis on MODSIM (Modeling & Simulation) approaches to accelerate collaboration and drive innovation across disciplines on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

For CFD enthusiasts, we're especially excited about Fluids Advanced Seminar, which feature sessions spanning both emerging technology and practical workflows, including:

🔹PowerFLOW Native Thermal Solver: An early look at native solid conduction and radiation capabilities within PowerFLOW, including brake thermal workflows and thermal protection methods, and how this enhanced workflow supports improved design validation and system-level analysis for even the most complex designs, leveraging the advantages of PowerFLOW’s advanced LBM solver

🔹PowerFLOW Advanced Common Model on 3DEXPERIENCE: Showcasing how MODSIM-based automation streamlines end-to-end CFD workflows, enabling simulation experts and non-CAE engineers to generate results more efficiently through collaboration, traceability, and improved turnaround time. The session will highlight how direct PLM connectivity and PowerFLOW Power’BY support replayable, integrated workflows using a single COMMON MODEL across multiple applications and design configurations during vehicle program

🔹3DEXPERIENCE Fluids (FMK) Capabilities: Highlighting how "left-shifted" CFD within a unified CAD-to-Simulation environment accelerates design exploration, reduces data translation bottlenecks, and enables rapid iteration earlier in development. The session will showcase scalable Cloud-enabled fluid and thermal analyses powered by SIMULIA Fluid Dynamics Engineer (FMK), a robust Navier-Stokes-based solver, delivering industrial-grade accuracy within the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

🔹PowerFLOW Multiphase & Multispecies Capabilities: Lagrangian particle tracking, user-defined scalar transport, and newly developed multiphase solver within PowerFLOW for complex flow applications. The session will highlight the strengths of LBM solver, with practical insight into modeling particle-laden flows, species transport, and multiphase interactions for more accurate prediction across diverse engineering workflows

▫️Together, these sessions reflect how SIMULIA CFD/Fluids technologies continue to advance → from workflow automation and Cloud-enabled engineering to expanded physics capabilities.

▫️If you’re attending SAUC, we’d encourage attending the Fluids Advanced Seminar. Looking forward to the discussions and exchange of ideas!
