Raphe’s engineers use SIMULIA to validate the design early in the process. Instead of multiple physical prototypes, Raphe uses SIMULIA to simulate different design iterations virtually, reducing R&D cycles from years to a few months. They were even able to reduce the weight of a 4kW two-stroke engine from 4–5 kg to 600 g without compromising performance.
