Calibration App New Features in R2026x FD01

This post serves as a list of all the new features in the 3DExperience Material Calibration App for R2026x FD01.  My intention is to create separate posts for each new feature to explain and demonstrate.  This will serve as a set of examples that users can refer to and follow.

R2026x FD01 was pushed to the public cloud on Saturday, Feb 7, 2026.

This post is a work in progress. As the demonstration posts are created (over the next few days), hyperlinks will be added here.

Add new Paperboard material model

26x FD01 Calibration : New Paperboard model added

Add Cast Iron plasticity material model

26x FD01 Calibration : Cast Iron material model added

Add Hencky to all hyperelastic areas :

              26x FD01 Calibration : Hencky hyperelasticity added

Add Mullins Effect, Definition=Slow Decay

26x FD01 Calibration : Payne Effect, Mullins Slows Decay

Add volumetric test data basis for Marlow and VL in Numeric & FE Modes

26X FD01 Calibration : Volumetric basis for Marlow and Valanis-Landel models

Master curve for stress relaxation / creep test data

26x FD01 Calibration : Stress Relaxation Master Curve

                                  26x FD01 Calibration : Creep Master Curve

Add a general "bias" capability for spacing in test data processing :

26x FD01 Calibration : New spacing option for Test Data Editing

Add "Truncate at Peak" feature to test data processing

              26x FD01 Calibration : Truncate Test Data

Add units to column header when exporting test data

Related to thermoplastics:

Add Darveaux and Modified Darveaux creep laws to PRF :

26x FD01 Calibration : Added Darveaux creep law to PRF model

Support for PRF_TNM material model calibration:

Jorgen Bergström's Three Network Model (TNM aka TN model)

Addition of solution dependent variables and user custom schema as a first class material option, available for all user subroutines.

These 3 items are now available across all user-subroutines:

  1. Solution Dependent variables (state variables) available for all user-subroutines
  2. Custom Schemas can now be used for all
  3. *User Defined Field, Type=Specified   26x FD01 Calibration : *User Defined Field, Type=Specified

Export unit-cubes from Analytical or Numerical mode.  26x FD01 Calibration : Export Unit-Cube new feature

Addition of “Formulation” option to user-defined hyperelasticity.

Formulation = Invariant   ➡️     Abaqus UHYPER user-subroutine

Formulation = Stretch     ➡️     Abaqus UHYPER_STRETCH user-subroutine

See this post on the SIMULIA Community for a demonstration of both UHYPER and UHYPER_STRETCH.

Comparing Neo-Hookean and Ogden N=1 hyperelastic models

Unfortunately, as of today (2-2-2026) it looks like the two below are broken.  Fixes will have to go into FD02

26x FD02 : Calibration of UANISOHYPER_STRAIN user-subroutine

26x FD02 : Calibration of UANISOHYPER_INV usersub
