What to expect after the update?
The first time you launch SOLIDWORKS Connected after the update, you will be prompted to update the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher, followed by SOLIDWORKS Connected. You will have two weeks (until August 2nd) to perform the update. Starting on August 3rd, the update will become mandatory in order to continue launching SOLIDWORKS Connected.**
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform access URL will remain the same.

**SOLIDWORKS Connected, SOLIDWORKS Visualize Connected and Shop Floor Machining require an installation on your computer. From the Compass, click on the app context menu to display the currently installed version. A red update icon indicates that an update is required. A green update icon indicates that a supplemental update is available to install at any time. See the Installing Native Apps Using the Compass on the Cloud page of the User Assistance for more information.

**SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps for Makers has a new name, SOLIDWORKS xDesign for Makers.
