Announcing 3DEXPERIENCE platform update on February 21st, 2026

Dear 3DEXPERIENCE MAKERS platform users,
Please be aware that we will be updating the 3DEXPERIENCE MAKERS platform to R2026x FD01 on Saturday, February 21st, 2026*.

 

Meaning for You

During this scheduled maintenance period, there will be a downtime on all services.

Make sure you have saved your documents on the cloud before the beginning of the operation.

 

What to expect after the update?

To ensure that you can fully benefit from this new version in your daily activity, we encourage you to connect to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as soon as the update is complete. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform access URL will remain the same.

3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers

The first time you launch SOLIDWORKS Design (formerly known as SOLIDWORKS Connected) after the update, you will be given the option to update to the latest version of SOLIDWORKS Apps or continue using your currently installed version. You will have two weeks (until March 7th) to perform the update. Starting on March 8th, upgrading the 3DEXPERIENCE platform components will be mandatory to continue using SOLIDWORKS Design.

What’s new?

**Native apps (including SOLIDWORKS Design, SOLIDWORKS Visualize, and Shop Floor Machining) require an installation on your device. See the Installing/Uninstalling Desktop Apps Using the Compass from the Cloud page of the User Assistance for more information.
