You can quickly and accurately perform an impact assessment before modifying or removing any variant value in the model version to take informed, data-driven decisions by understanding the full scope of the modification.

This is especially useful when numerous objects, such as product instances and requirements are mapped to variability through the effectivity definition.
 

How?

In the Model Definition web app, select the specific variant value from the Variability tab.

Open the Information Panel and navigate to the 'Effectivity Where Used' tab.

Use the Action Menu option to quickly open the listed objects for visualization and informed decision-making.
