Quintiq Mobile Client (QMC) v7.10.0 For iOS and Android

Dear all,

We’re pleased to announce that Quintiq Mobile Client (QMC) v7.10.0 for iOS and Android are now available.


IMPORTANT:

For Android QMC users

A change required in Android apps by Google will result in SAML NOT WORKING in this version for Android QMC. There are two available solutions:

Either of the above solutions need to be implemented before SAML for the QMC Android will work.

 

Updated features/components:

iOS

  • QR code scanner in Login screen to add QMC profile
  • QMC 'Send Error Report' feature removal

IMPORTANT:

o The ‘Incident Report’ feature in Settings screen has been removed

o User will no longer be able to send error report when error occurs in QMC

  • Fixed the issue of prompt for downloading newer version of QMC when it is already up-to-date
  • Added accessibility support to QMC
    • Color and font size changes for improved accessibility, and added accessibility switch in Settings screen to toggle color and font size changes.
    • Added accessibility voice assistant to QMC UI controls, and it is activated when the VoiceOver (iOS) in the device is turned on. For better experience with accessibility, turn on the accessibility switch in Settings screen.
  • Calendar upgrade to support accessibility
  • Bug fix in calendar

Android

  • QR code scanner in Login screen to add QMC profile
  • QMC 'Send Error Report' feature removal

IMPORTANT:

  • Added Network Security Configuration in QMC
    • Added Network Security Configuration to accept certificates in Android user certificate store

IMPORTANT: QMC Android app will accept CA certificates outside of Android's system list

  • Added accessibility support to QMC
    • Color and font size changes for improved accessibility, and added accessibility switch in Settings screen to toggle color and font size changes.
    • Added accessibility voice assistant to QMC UI controls, and it is activated when the TalkBack (Android) in the device is turned on. For better experience with accessibility, turn on the accessibility switch in Settings screen.
  • Calendar upgrade to support accessibility
  • Bug fix in calendar
  • Push notification bug fix

Below is the list of Mobile OS versions the QMC for iOS and Android is supported on:

iOS: iOS 15, iOS 16

Android: Android 12, Android 13
