As of now, the visibility of stock orders has been extended to the Machine Gantt chart in addition to their existing integration within the Work Orders and Operations Gantt charts.

With this specific chart the challenge was that several Stock Orders could be planned at the same time on the same machine. Some questions raised: 

• How to represent them? 
• How to get the list of these Stock Orders?
• How to highlight that there are several ones? 

Representation

The stock orders are consolidated on the STOCK machine within the STAND-BY grouping.

Reminder: The display of the stock orders can be enabled or disabled from the Planning control ribbon via the 'Display stock orders' option  located in the 'Display' tab.

The  button enhances the readability of several stock orders positioned on the same date.

The comprehensive list of these stock orders can be accessed via this ‘+’ button, and the 'Filter stock orders' button provides the highlighting feature on the WO Gantt chart or the WO focus Gantt chart in the lower part of the graph area.

Highlighting feature

Highlighting a single stock order is equivalent to highlighting a Work Order.

Highlighting a subset of stock orders planned on the same date results in the left half of the stock order triangle icon appearing in gray. This emphasizes the filtered stock orders while ensuring the information about non-filtered stock orders remain visible in the Machine Gantt chart.
