We are delighted to welcome our newest CATIA Champion, @VA ! 🏆

Victor has spent the past nine years working with CATIA, primarily as a design engineering consultant across the Swedish Volvo ecosystem. Thanks to a series of fast-paced, short-term projects in a wide range of mechanical systems, he has gained hands-on expertise across an impressive variety of CATIA workbenches: from Electrical, Fluid, Sheet Metal, GSD, Part Design, to Mechanical and more.

Throughout his consulting journey, Victor collaborated with numerous engineers, learning their best practices and collecting tips & tricks to pass on to future teams, helping raise the overall level of design quality everywhere he worked.

Today, Victor is based in the heart of the Swedish Laplands, working remotely for Komatsu Forest as a CAD / PLM Application Specialist. He now focuses on CAD methodology, engineering processes, and lifting MBSE practices within the organization. One of his recent projects explored the use of Flow- & Functional-Driven Generative Design for creating hydraulic manifolds: an exciting step toward next-generation design automation.
