Testing the Instrument connectivity to LES application using Putty app:

Pre-Requisites: Install Putty in LES application server.

1. Launch the Putty App.
2. In the Putty Configuration window, add the IP-address of the Instrument, port and select ‘Raw’ for the Connection type.
3. Click Open.
4. Type commands for the corresponding Instrument (eg Balance).

            Type ‘S’ to get stable weight value or ‘SU’ to get ‘Stable weight value in display unit’.

5. Close the Putty UI to release the open port. If not closed properly, the instrument will be non-available.
