Session Abstract

Whether you have been using SOLIDWORKS from its inception or are only just now developing those skills, you have likely come across a broken sketch reference or assembly mate. With each new release of SOLIDWORKS, there are more and greater abilities we can use to automatically repair these. When I first heard they introduced auto-repair mates in SOLIDWORKS 2023, I was blown away because this single feature could free up almost 20% of my work week. Every year since, this feature has continued to improve, and it is now joined by several other automatic repair tools to further assist in saving time during rework. Join me as I explore with you what these new features can do and see how it has evolved in the last few years. We will be looking at some example cases to point out some best practices when using these commands.
