As designers we have to communicate our information and requirements to many different groups. We deal with Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, and Technicians & Customers to name a few. Being the professionals we are, we know we need to provide those groups with the SPECIFIC information they need. So how do we talk to Manufacturing? I know make a Drawing! How do we talk to Sales & Marketing? I know make a Drawing! How do we talk to Technicians & Customers? I know make a Drawing! This session will walk through a different approach where you can learn a better way to communicate. Instead of speaking OUR language (Drawings), we'll walk through other tools that can better help communicate in our audiences' and talk THEIR language through the use of SOLIDWORKS MBD, SOLIDWORKS Visualize, and SOLIDWORKS Composer.

I am currently an Application Engineer Manager with GoEngineer. I live in Indianapolis Indiana with my wife, Meghan, and sons Owen and Oliver. In my spare time I enjoy golf, woodworking, handyman projects, and college football. For the past 7 years I have been an Application Engineer for GoEngineer with a primary focus on solving problems. Prior to that I worked in the bearing and power transmission industry for 6 years doing the same. I strive to understand customers' goals and frustrations and do whatever is in my power to help them grow. I have an entrepreneurial passion and love discussing solutions to problems both simple and complex.
