Welcome to the SOLIDWORKS + 3DEXPERIENCE Getting Started Guide

This guide has been created to help SOLIDWORKS users get started with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and other SOLIDWORKS Cloud roles and apps.

As a user on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you can have 1 of 2 core responsibilities: Administrator or Member. 

• As an administrator, you will be involved in setting up the platform, inviting others, and assigning permissions. 
• As a member, you will utilize the roles and applications assigned to you by your administrator.

Note: You may be both an Administrator AND a Member; in this case, you can follow both paths in this guide.

	Choose your path to get started:
	Getting Started | Admin Path
		I am the Administrator of my company's platform This path walks you through the basics of setting up your company's platform. You will learn what options are available to you and how best to get started.
	Getting Started | Member Path
		I am a Member who will use the Roles and Apps of my company's platform This path focuses on how you can use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the Roles and Apps assigned to you.
	**I am both the Administrator and Member who will use the Roles and Apps. For this, you should follow through both paths!

As an administrator or member, this guide is designed to help you get started, regardless of your customer type: Commercial Customer, Maker, Student, or Academic.

This guide is intended to be used as a reference at any time! To get the best out of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for your business, you should work with your Reseller Partner to successfully onboard and achieve your business outcomes.
