Welcome to  Getting Started with SOLIDWORKS + 3DEXPERIENCE

This guide has been created to help SOLIDWORKS users get started with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and other SOLIDWORKS Cloud roles and apps.

Take your First Steps:

If this is the first time that you are accessing the platform, either as an Admin or Member, there are steps that you must take to activate your Platform and assign or accept your Role Licenses. 

Choose your path to Get Started:

As an administrator or member, this guide is designed to help you get started, regardless of your customer type: Commercial Customer, Maker, Student, or Academic.

This guide is intended to be used as a reference at any time! To get the most from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for your business, you should work with your Reseller Partner to successfully onboard and achieve your business outcomes.

	I am the Administrator of my company's platform This path walks you through the basics of setting up your company's platform. You will learn what options are available to you and how best to get started.			I am a Member who will use the Roles and Apps of my company's platform This path focuses on how you can use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the Roles and Apps assigned to you.
**I am both the Administrator and Member who will use the Roles and Apps. For this, you should follow through both paths!

If you are looking to take advantage of benefits such as sharing SOLIDWORKS designs with clients or suppliers, storing your SOLIDWORKS data in a central, secure repository that enables design collaboration, then the Getting Started Guide is the best place to start.
