Session Abstract

Learn how to avoid problems and pitfalls with your assembly mates! This session will give you an under-the-hood explanation of how the SOLIDWORKS mate solver works, and introduce some key concepts that will help you to constrain your assemblies in the optimal way. This will include how to structure your mate system, the impact assembly configurations can have, what to watch for when using imported models, and how different mate types can affect the performance of the mate solve.
