Custom properties are one of the most widely used features of SOLIDWORKS. In this session we will learn how to optimize work with different types of custom properties (file specific, configuration specific, cut list custom properties). We will look at advanced techniques, macros, tools, and tips & tricks which would help manage custom properties more efficiently: linking custom properties values (e.g. cut-list custom properties and file custom properties), linking notes to custom properties in the drawings, reading/writing custom properties from Windows File Explorer and Excel, batch editing custom properties of hundreds of files in a matter of seconds.
