SOLIDWORKS PDM can integrate with Windows Active Directory (AD) and leverage the existing users and groups that are configured in the network. This session will take a deep dive into many of the improved AD features that have been introduced in SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional 2022 and 2023 releases. We will look at how the Windows Login type can be linked to AD users and groups, how the information is handled in the vault database and archives and how to update when the AD account changes. This will help all PDM administrators set up and manage their PDM users and groups.
