As a designer who has been involved in mechanical design and structural analysis, I am now expanding into product design and mold design. I would like to talk about the ideal fusion of design and analysis. The company where I serve as CIO is moving into digital engineering using the latest digital tools and trying to redefine Japanese manufacturing. It is called "design factory." This system will make it possible to transform Japan's supply chain. I will talk about this new system and future challenges along with the current state of Japanese manufacturing.
