There are two ways to transform a simple, blocky model into a complex, organic model: Option 1: Put in hours of work with standard “solid” tools and a design tree the length of a football field. Option 2: Use surfacing tools. The gap between solid modeling and surface modeling can seem like a daunting hurdle to SOLIDWORKS users, but seeing the surfacing tools in action is often all it takes to make the leap. In this session, in order to demystify the world of surface modeling and show how surfacing tools can supercharge your everyday work, we will use every major surfacing tool in SOLIDWORKS to build and repair a model. If you’re ready to expand your modeling horizons and turn four-hour modeling sessions into five-second tasks, then join us as we push every surfacing button in SOLIDWORKS! (And see what happens)
