An updated version of our presentation from previous SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Worlds that will cover all aspects of Design Tables. We start off looking at What’s New to Configurations and Design Tables in SOLIDWORKS 2022. Next, we look at Design Tables in part models starting with the Configuration and Design Table basics of formatting, creating/inserting, editing and options. The presentation then looks at how to properly plan for the Design Table, execution tips and taking your Design Table to the next level. Working in conjunction with Design Tables is the SOLIDWORKS Configuration Publisher and we explore the general principals of the Configuration Publisher with Single-Line and Multi-Line Design Tables We look at how Design Tables in Assembly models are managed in how it is similar and different to Part Design Tables. Lastly, we cover Design Tables in Drawings and how a model’s Design Table can be shown on a Drawing Sheet.

Since 1995 Josh Altergott has been a Designer, Trainer, & Consultant. Since 2002 he worked at Computer Aided Technology starting as an Application Engineer and working into his current role as the Director of Software Support. Josh started using SOLIDWORKS in 1998 and has worked in a variety of industries. This experience gives him a wide knowledge that he is able to apply when working on SOLIDWORKS and technical issues with the customers that Computer Aided Technology supports. He has also worked with the College of Lake County teaching SOLIDWORKS since 2003 and has over 200 students that have earned their CSWA through his classes. Josh is an accomplished speaker with over 20 years of experience demoing, training & supporting SOLIDWORKS. He has presented at numerous events, user groups and at SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Worlds 2006-2022.
