FeatureWorks enables the creation of smart parametric models from "big dumb lump" neutral formats like IGES, STEP, & Parasolid. Successful feature recognition relies on knowing the best strategies, techniques, & tips to overcome challenging geometry that might otherwise defeat your efforts. If you launch FeatureWorks by turning on Automatic Recognition, selecting ALL the feature types, and crossing your fingers as you click the Go button, you're setting yourself up for failure. Join us as we explore tested, proven techniques to successfully recognize a wide variety of features for machined, cast, sheet metal, and other part types. Learn methods for overcoming problematic geometry that seems to defy feature recognition by standard approaches.
