In the video you'll learn what 3DEXPERIENCE attributes are and how to create them, how to custom map between 3DEXPERIENCE and SOLIDWORKS, and see how it works inside SOLIDWORKS (including a bidirectional update demonstration).
How To
This video explains how to create properties (or attributes) on platform objects and how to match them with SOLIDWORKS properties.
This way you can enter property values in SOLIDWORKS and see these values on the platform, or change some values in the platform and update corresponding values in SOLIDWORKS, or both.
In this case, anywhere you change the value will change the property in SOLIDWORKS and the platform at the same time.
Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2022 and 3DEXPERIENCE 2022x it is also now possible to read directly default platform attributes in SOLIDWORKS properties and keep them updated. This is showcased at the end of the video.
