6. Member | Share and Collaborate with Others in a Community

3DSwym Communities are the heart of collaboration on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Think of a community as a message board to collaborate with your colleagues using different types of posts. Additionally you can use a 3DSwym Conversations to chat with colleagues and use video calls to conduct meetings with one or more of your colleagues.


How To 

The 3DSwym app can be found on the Communities tab of your default SOLIDWORKS Cockpit Dashboard. In the below example you can see the Collaborative Designer for SOLIDWORKS cockpit (All SOLIDWORKS Cockpits follow the same layout).

The Communities tab provides access to your company's 3DSwym Communities. Communities are a place to share and collaborate with others on your design projects and more.
