The session will illustrate the case of a Project Manager who needs to modify an existing product containing a Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). The modification of the PCB using Cadence(R) product will be associated to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform that will track versioning and maturity status. Then, using Electromagnetics Engineer, the Power Integrity of the PDN (power distribution network) of this new PCB will be simulated and will reveal the need to add decoupling capacitors. This will be achieved by the PCB Designer who will publish the new version on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. At that point the Electronics Engineer will accept the modifications and will be able to start the simulation on the new PCB straight away. After that, a simulation for Electronic Cooling will be performed using GPUs to gain time. At the end, participants will appreciate how Project Manager, PCB Engineer, Electronics Engineer can work efficiently on a project allowing quick what if analysis.
