Session Abstract
3D scanning technology is widely used across industries, offering varying speed, accuracy, and capability when capturing physical objects. This session will demystify the 3D scanning process, helping you understand which technology best suits different applications. When a CAD file doesn’t exist, 3D scanning captures the geometry of an existing object, converting it into a digital format. From there, reverse engineering can be used. We will cover the steps to reverse engineer and create a fully parametric model. Gain new skills or refresh existing ones through guided learning, with practical insights into processes, tips, and workflows essential for accurate reverse engineering and model creation.
