Interactively Move Bodies with the 3D Robot Manipulator

The 3D Robot manipulator (accessed using the 'Move with Triad' option on the contextual toolbar) enhances user experience by enabling intuitive movement and rotation of parts and assemblies using axis and arc handles for linear and rotational adjustments. Access the options 'Move without Constraint' and 'Move with Constraint' from the context toolbar to interactively position objects in 3D view, aiding in the quick understanding of the behavior of kinematic systems.

The 'Move without Constraint' option enables you to interactively move a body, ignoring the constraints set up in a mechanism. You can roughly position a body in the environment to get clear visibility for selecting geometry, e.g. while creating joints, and then assemble the system using joints/mechanism solve.

The 'Move with Constraint' option enables you to move objects while respecting assembly constraints, based on the Engineering Connections, so you can quickly check, capture, save, or modify the mechanism’s current state.
