1080 - Setting Up Your Templates

One of the main benefits when creating drawings in SOLIDWORKS is the ability to use properties from the model in the drawing of the part. This session will include a quick setup of a custom property file, using the property tab builder; using the property file in a model file and saving it as a template; using those properties in a drawing and a BOM.

Finally, we'll discuss whether you should save your drawing as a template or a sheet format file. This session can be useful if you are just starting up with SOLIDWORKS, and want to get at head start on your templates.
