Putting engineering knowledge into practice at the right time along the product development process is of immense value. Especially in the early phase, where design proposals undergo significant changes, simulation-originated insights are still often underutilized. Main causes for this problem are organizational and technological barriers.
In this panel, we will discuss how a deep integration of modeling and simulation enabled by a unified software foundation will unlock engineering productivity gains especially in the early product development phase. From industry experts we will also try to understand organizational and technological challenges companies need to overcome in order to enable teams being performant utilizing the MODSIM approach.
