This year, on September 25, we met with our community in our facilities in Darmstadt to discuss Concept Structure Engineering topics and share concept studies and demos. Although the event was named Europe, we were delighted to welcome guests from Japan and the United States.
We started early in the morning with a Q&A session to get to know our host, Manohar PRABHU, who was surprised about some of the questions he was asked. 😄
This was followed by a panel discussion about "From ideas to impact: Concept Engineering in industry" with our experts Charles GAGLIANO from HONDA Americas, @Thorsten Pohl from STELLANTIS, @Pascal PANCRACE from RENAULT, @Pit Schwanitz from PORSCHE AG and @AI as moderator. The discussion was very interesting, with many questions from the audience and insides from our experts.
After a break, we jumped right into the topic of "AI-powered Virtual Twin Experiences to Accelerate Concept Engineering", presented by @MP and @ET. This was followed by a Design Study on Crash Management Systems by @MS and a Mega Castings in Concept Design presentation by @SM.
After "A unified approach managing a generic body structure design driven by vehicle Architecture", presented by @SM @AI and @MS we were ready for a lunch break and some networking.
In the afternoon, we saw two more presentations Utilizing a Pattern-Based Approach to Create Aerospace and Railway Structures by @MD and the Dassault Systèmes R&D Updates and Development roadmap by @AH and @NB before we finished the event with a demo and a short hands-on training.
After so many hours of fruitful discussions and knowledge sharing, we deserved our very funny quiz and farewell drink.
THANK YOU TO ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR THIS GREAT DAY!
