| SLUGME stands for SOLIDWORKS Largest User Group Meeting Ever, and it's much more than a single event. It's a group of makers, designers, engineers, and educators who come together to design and create ambitious projects while sharing knowledge with the community. |

Being part of this team has helped me grow tremendously as a designer and maker. Every project pushes us to learn new tools, develop new skills, and collaborate in ways we never expected.
Over the years, we've created some amazing projects together:
SLUGME is fueled by its people, their curiosity, and a constant desire to learn and share knowledge. Every project becomes a shared experience where we push each other, grow together, and turn ideas into reality. Over the years, that energy has driven some incredible builds: SLUGME 6, a custom hypercar design paired with 24 hours of nonstop content creation; SLUGME 7, a custom-themed desk built for Jenica. SLUGME 8, a Lending Tree Library that continues to inspire young readers at a local school, and SLUGME 9, where we designed and built two electric drift trikes. Each project added new skills, new challenges, and new lessons—and together they reflect what SLUGME is really about: collaboration, creativity, and the drive to keep learning and building something better every time.
One thing I always regretted was not capturing enough of the journey. During those projects, I was usually too busy designing, building, and solving problems to document what was happening behind the scenes.
So for SLUGME 10, I made it a priority to capture as much of the process as possible. The challenge then became turning hundreds of hours of footage into a quick, engaging video series that takes you behind the scenes of building a giant dinosaur from start to finish.
This video series is more than just the story of a giant dinosaur. It's a behind-the-scenes look at what happens when a group of passionate makers, designers, engineers, and educators come together with a shared goal of creating, learning, and inspiring others.
I hope that it not only shows how we built a giant dinosaur, but also encourages others to take on ambitious projects of their own.
Remember YOU can create anything!
