The 3DEXPERIENCE User Communities are secure places where you can exchange with your peers and access learning resources. All members have the right to ask and answer questions or give comments.

In addition to the Privacy Policy of Dassault Systèmes that each Dassault Systèmes user has accepted with the registration of the 3DEXPERIENCE Passport, here is a list of DOs and DON'Ts for the user communities:

DO's

• Take a positive attitude.
• Be ethical (honest, fair play).
• Stay cool (try to keep your emotions in perspective).
• Focus on subjects which interest your audience
• Gain interest, win followers for your subject.
• Ask open questions to your audience, invite discussion.
• Reference contributions of co-creators in the community.
• Tag and categorize your questions.
• Be courteous and professional in your postings.
• Use images, video, URLs, attached documents to support your messages (do not copyrighted content).
• Rate posts you have read and appreciated.

DON'Ts

• Be conscious to not share trade secrets in this community.
• Do not use the community to headhunt (no job offers).
• Do not bash your competitors.
• Avoid talking about solutions which are not yet official.
• Do not promote solutions which compete with 3DS portfolio.
• Steer clear of comparing your solutions or ideas against those of others.
• Avoid being un-cool, negative, judgmental, offensive
• Do not get into a flame war with another user.
• Do not post a reply to a negative/emotional post without talking to one of the moderators.
