Some customers still perform a lot of welding manually, but Delmia Robotics tools combined with Ergonomics can make this far more structured and efficient. 

In this workflow, we start from a process where all fasteners to be welded are already defined, automatically generate the weld list, then launch a tool search scenario to test multiple weld guns at once. Each gun is rotated 360° around every fastener with collision checks, and the results appear in a feasibility table: green for reachable, yellow when orientation tuning is needed, red when not feasible.

 After selecting the best gun, we switch to the Ergonomics app, assign the tool to the worker, and let the smart posturing engine simulate realistic movements, posture scores, and risk levels. This way, manufacturers can validate tool accessibility and operator ergonomics upfront faster planning, safer workers, and more reliable manual welding operations.​
