How to Manage Elements Across Multiple Collaborative Spaces in 3DEXPERIENCE

When working with multiple collaborative spaces in 3DEXPERIENCE, elements can become scattered across different spaces, making them invisible to users who only have access to one space. This is time-consuming to manage when onboarding new users who need to see all elements.

Quick Method to Identify, Select and Move Elements

Business Intelligence Essentials provides the fastest way to identify elements in different collaborative spaces:

  • Open your assembly in the active collaborative space

  • Go to the Tools tab in the action pad

  • Click on B.I. Essentials button

  • Select Collaborative Space Allocation

  • Your assembly will display color-coded elements showing which collaborative space each part belongs to (green for current space, dark blue for other spaces, light blue for standard spaces)

This visual method instantly reveals all elements that need to be moved without manually checking properties for each component.

Transferring Elements to Target Collaborative Space

Once you've identified misplaced elements, click on the + button to select all elements at once and then the move command feature in Collaborative Lifecycle:

  • Click the magnifying glass to search for your target collaborative space

  • Select the desired collaborative space and click OK

You can also transfer elements directly from the Bookmark Editor by selecting files and clicking the Move command in the ribbon.
