Column Configuration Using GUI

Using the Show Columns View Preferences Panel the user may control the order of columns, their visibility, and size:

Enabling more views in the “Views” tab will allow for rearranging columns for these other views:

Additionally, selecting “More Attributes” allows the user to select new attributes to columns using a GUI which provides a list of all types, extensions, and attributes.

Use the OOTB Default parameter set or a new custom parameter set when setting new attributes, as this process will overwrite any existing column customizations and may cause unwanted impact.

If using an existing custom parameter set, it is a requirement for it to be “In Work” and have a single file saved in it, this can be the xmlparams.zip folder with just the name.

Modifying The File

Once the ENOVIA Document has been generated for the custom parameter set, you may modify the configuration by:

  1. launching ENOVIA Doucments Management and download the configuration file to reference object types, extensions and attributes. This file may be edited and reuploaded as required.

  2. Use the same GUI to update the configuration.
