On 12th October 2018, DELMIA Apriso 2019 became generally available for customer ordering and delivery. This release introduces several significant enhancements that address the needs of our current customer base, and further improves DELMIA Apriso capabilities to support Digital Continuity initiatives.
3D Work Instructions: DELMIA Apriso 2019 introduces a preconfigured solution for the shop floor operators that provides the ability to work with 3D work instructions authored in 3DEXPERIENCE platform. 3D Work Instructions have also been made available in DELMIA Apriso 2018, Service Pack 2.
Distributed Numerical Control (DNC): Distributed Numerical Control (DNC) is a new capability that provides Numerical Control (NC) programs management, which includes document viewing, editing, and transfer to machines based on user role configuration.
Nomad (Offline) Mode Enhancements: In our continued quest to provide mobility on the DELMIA Apriso platform, Nomad Mode now includes an Internal Web Components framework for building offline solutions with HTML5 UI support, enabling the creation of UI elements based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Manufacturing Process Intelligence (MPI): The Operations Monitoring Console (OMC) has been enhanced to provide one central location where KPIs, charts, and dashboards can be monitored. Additionally, the Dashboard Builder has been upgraded to a new web version with all-new dashboard formats.
Platform Enhancements: In support of IIoT implementations, this release introduces event-based messaging support via MQTT Brokers which are useful in communicating with smart devices, as well as Business Integrator enhancements supporting Apache Kafka message broker to provide publish/subscribe type of communication with external systems. In addition to this, the DELMIA Apriso platform was enhanced with the REST web services support for lightweight communication (also available in DELMIA Apriso 2018, Service Pack 2).
