Our customer teams are not necessarily located in the same place. However, they genuinely need experiences to better collaborate and interact during their meetings. How does 3DLean answer to this need?
As Human collaboration leads to improvement, the live functionality has been developed to enable remote collaboration in the team. It requires some hardware to provide the best experience to all attendees. This setting intends to mimic a real face-to-face collaboration.
This setting requires (see below picture) :
- A laptop
- A big touch screen to display and use 3DLean
- A second monitor (not necessarily touch) to have a video-conference with your teammates and keep eye contact with them.
- A webcam for your teammates to see the people in the room and catch their body language, which represents more than 50% of any communication.
In the display settings of the computer, choose Extend displays and select the touchscreen as the main screen.
Once your setting is ready, launch 3DLean, and ask your remote teammates to do the same. Then, tap on the 'meeting' button, choose the duration and tap on Start. Now you are the master of the meeting: only you can navigate in 3DLean, and every remote people will see the board you are displaying.
Everybody can draw, add, and move sticky notes, even remote people.
At the end of the meeting, don't forget to close the session by taping on the meeting/end. Otherwise, no one will have the possibility to navigate in 3DLean.
