Data Factory Studio now requires to create a Data Workspace, which is a Data Project instantiation, to configure resources (storages, pipelines). In a Data Project, you can: - Maintain the lifecycle of a group of resources with a git-like approach relying on branch and commit. - Instantiate a Data Project in one or several Data Workspaces. - Define dependencies on other Data Projects with an associated versioning range. - Define access permissions on resources. In Data Workspaces, you can: - Edit resource configurations inside the Data Perspective Studio editor. - Push all resource modifications to create a new Data Project commit. - Pull external published modifications from the Data Project and update the Data Workspace. - Define a list of members who can work and use the Data Workspace. - Define dependencies with other Data Workspaces located in other Data Projects

I
Data Project Control Center allows you to control the Data Projects and Data Workspaces gathering the resources at the basis of Data Perspectives. In the 3DEXPERIENCE lake, you can create resources using different applications: Data Perspectives queries and screens in Data Perspective Studio, storages and pipelines in Data Factory Studio. All these resources can have dependencies with one another, which can make a big and complex graph of resource dependencies in production. It can become a real problem if you aim to create a lot of different projects within the same tenant and want to manage governance, lifecycle, distribution. Data Project Control Center provides you with an answer to these problematics through Data Projects and Data Workspaces.
