Lock mechanism and types of licenses
There are 3 types of lock mechanism that prevent the ungrant of a Role:
| The thirty day lock period that start when the user consume the license for the first time (this period does not reset with licenses renewal) | |
| The 2 hour lock, it's essentially here to prevent an admin to remove a licenses that is being used by a user, it's reset every time the user request the license to the server (upon search, open, save, ...) | |
| If the role is assigned via user group, In this instance a message ""assigned via user group" is seen, To ungrant the role either the user can be removed from the group or the group itself can be removed from the roles section. |
Then there are 2 types of licenses on the platform:
Note: Once a user connects to the web platform, the user will lock all the platform (WA) licenses that were assigned to them for 2 hours, Same principle applies for Desktop Licenses. |
