Support policy for browsers

  • 64-bit version of Firefox 115esr is a Validated platform
  • 32-bit version of Firefox 115esr is a Compatible platform
  • 64-bit version of Firefox x esr, with x>115 is a Compatible Platform
  • Firefox x esr, with x>115 is a Compatible Platform.
  • 32-bit or 64-bit Chrome, most current stable channel release, is a Compatible Platform.
  • 64-bit Microsoft Edge, most current official build, is a Compatible Platform
  • 64-bit Microsoft Edge for Business, most current official build, is a Compatible Platform

Support policy for Open Apps

Java Runtime:

  • IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition for Java (JDK) 21.0.4 is a Validated Platform
  • IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition for Java (JDK) 21.0.x with x >4 is a Compatible Platform
  • Oracle JDK 21.0.x,with x>=4, is a Compatible Platform.

Mandatory Rich client Component

  • The "Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF)" is a mandatory installation component introduced in R2024x GA
  • The CEF installation remains included in Native Apps installation. Starting R2024x, making the Chromium Embedded Framework installation plugin visible will allow to shorten any patch deliveries related to CEF.
