A new section named “Release Authorization” is available now in the tab “Change” in the properties of released objects by a change action showing the following information:

• The titles of the approval Tasks that required a user validation
• The users who approved the task and the date when it was Approved
• Approval comments provided during Approval

This is available:

• For un-configured objects
• From the web and not from the native client
• When the Change action reaches “Complete” maturity state

Updates to setting labels in the change configuration console 

Renamed the reviewer enforcement parameters to clarify their intent (see related numbers in the screenshot)

1.Do not allow change action owner to be the only reviewer

• If checked, the owner cannot be the only reviewer of the change action. If the owner is a reviewer a secondary reviewer will be required, but it cannot violate any of the other parameters. 

2.Do not allow change action assignees to be  the only reviewers

• If checked, the assignee cannot be the only reviewer of change action. If an assignee is a reviewer a secondary reviewer will be required, but it cannot violate any of the other parameters. You can have multiple assignees as reviewers. 

3.Do not allow change action governing change coordinator to be the only reviewers

• If checked, the change coordinator from the parent change order cannot be the only reviewer of the change action.

Interference data can now be displayed in 3DPlay by Drag and Drop them from the “Interference list” into the 3DPlay, from the following locations:

• From the interference list available when using “Preview” in 3DPlay
  • Available in both web and win

• From the interference list available in  3DPlay widget in web

• From the interference list available In 3DPlay Native Win 10 (Only on Cloud):
  • By selecting the interference simulation or metrics from the interference list (in web)  and start the native win 10 app from the compass

The following Interference geometries can be displayed in 3DPlay:

• Clash curves and penetration vectors (if these vectors are stored in the platform)

• Contact Triangles
• Minimum Distance vectors (if these vectors are stored in the platform)

The connector will now show a warning if you try to remove the reservation on a file you have modified on the local disk or in the session without saving it back to the platform.

Replace Content command

Top-down-design: Better ability to work with structures created in Product Structure Editor or Release Engineer

A SOLIDWORKS Desktop assembly structure is created in a browser widget and the new nodes are populated with template files upon creation.

A CAD user can then replace the attached template file content with the proper file from disk

User Experience Improvements

Both “Table” and “Grid” views are now automatically saved per user (when the user logs out, the view is saved). This concerns views created through:

• Sort
• Group By
• Advanced Filter
• Component view (“Direct” or “Flattened”)

You can still personalize the view without the need to save it as it becomes automatically the “Default” view (“Save” button is removed)

Limitations:
Reorder of the columns is not saved in the view (after logout, the original order is restored)
