Take advantage of the classification attributes capabilities (NLS, Export,…) with attributes created with IP Classification web application thanks to the migration command available to Classification managers.
Improve compliancy with corporate practices and enhance control over access on declassify operation. Through a dedicated option, enforce strict ownership condition on data for author role to declassify data from libraries.
By default, classification attributes, created in the IP Classification application are not manageable in the IP Classification Editor widget app. They are identified as non editable. Classification manager can benefits from all capabilities (Update, NLS, Export,…) on attributes created with IP Classification web application. In order to do so, Classification Manager must apply an “Upgrade” operation on “legacy” classification attributes. After upgrade, classification attributes are fully manageable within the IP Classification Editor app. In order to better control declassify operation on critical data and be compliant with some corporate policies, a dedicated option is introduced to control the declassify access for Authors.
With this new option, it is now possible to apply a strict user ownership condition on the data to allow him to declassify the data with an Author role.
