Guidelines to Register for AAKRUTI Innovation Competition 2026
This contest is free of cost. No need to pay any cost to register and later as well.
📌 Pre-Requisites for Participation
🔹 Build Your Dream Team 👥: AAKRUTI is a team-based competition! Gather 4 students (including yourself) and choose ONE team leader. Pick wisely, your leader will guide your team through the competition!
🔹 Pick Your Theme 🎯: You’ll have 4 exciting themes to choose from. Start brainstorming which one sparks your creativity the most!
🔹 Find Your Mentor 👨🏫: Each team must have a teacher guide to mentor them throughout the competition. Talk to your professor/teacher and get their confirmation early!
🔹 Review Registration Details: Before proceeding with registration, Please note that Team leader needs to fill the form on behalf of Entire Team. Carefully review the information provided about the event, including dates, venue and any eligibility requirements. Keep this information handy before filling the form.
🔹 Team Formation Guidelines :
- Team of 4 members are allowed. You cannot increase or decrease the count. 4 members are mandatory to form a team.
- Undergraduate students can form a team and participate in the contest.
- You can form a team of cross-disciplines.
- You can form a team of cross-years. Eg. 1st year student can make team with 4th year student.
- Masters pursuing/pursued students can become team mentors to the undergraduating student teams and can enroll in the contest.
- One registered team can take participate in all the 4 themes. All they need to do is register again with the same team and select the different theme.
- One student can form multiple teams for the same theme; provided the rest 3 students are different and team formation are not duplicating with the earlier team formation.

- Team Mentor Details (Name, Location, Discipline, E-mail ID)
- Team Leader Details (Name, Location, Discipline, E-mail ID, Certifications)
- Team Member 1 Details (Name, Location, Discipline, E-mail ID, Certifications)
- Team Member 2 Details (Name, Location, Discipline, E-mail ID, Certifications)
- Team Member 3 Details (Name, Location, Discipline, E-mail ID, Certifications)
👉 Select Your Theme: Before proceeding with registration, you have the option to select one theme only that aligns with your team interests or expertise. You can check more information about the themes here and their sample problem statements here

SWYM activities - Few tasks will be given to score additional points on the AAKRUTI students SWYM Community. You will be able to have the access of it post registration only.
Initial Design Submission - To review the progress done by the team so far. It will happen in mid June
