Ok, so I've been fighting at this for some time now and I have not found as to why it's happening.

I'm working with SW 2012 x64 edition SP 4.0

So I have a valve assembly with an extension attached. There is only one extension but the BOM calls in "50"

I can edit the value to say "1" but this message comes up:

This cell value is parametrically linked to a part or assembly document.
Manually overriding the value will sever this link. 
(To restore the link in the future, delete the user-defined text from the cell.)

Continue editing the cell?

Changing the QTY to "1" isn't that big of deal, but it's starting to get annoying that I have to keep changing the QTY to "1" everytime I create a new drawing that has an extension.

I've looked everywhere and can not figure out as to where it's pulling the "50" from.

Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?
