My work recently purchased a scanner for our Faro arm. We scanned a wood piece I brought from home as a test and I am having problems starting off. The scan is a point cloud with roughly 2.2 million points. I have tried using the Scan to 3D wizard with no luck. I have have tried about 10 times with different settings and get about the same results.

Here are two screen shots. One is of the point cloud before the wizard and the other is after. I have also tried to split up the point cloud into smaller sections using meshlab and then opening them with Solidworks; still no luck. Does anybody have any ideas what else I could try?
