Hi

I'm designing a small AUV (submarine) and have done the frame and shell as a multibody part, since they need to fit together and doesn't move. My plan was then to make a "save bodies" and create an assembly where I can add standard parts, fasteners etc and take the drawings from.

My question is then: I need to specify some weldments of the frame, should I do it in the multibody part or do it in the assembly?

What are the pro/cons in both approaches?

I need to be able to make drawings of the frame with the specified weldments.
